The Free Spirits Belt Tensioner is spring loaded to give the belt relief from excessive stress. A clever idea that all XBs could use. The tensioner replaces the rigid mounting bracket and reuses the stock idler wheel.
Choose from Black, Red, Blue, Gold or Natural Alloy.
We recommend that the tensioner be fitted by a qualified automotive professional. In some cases the idler needs to be shimmed to meet the centre of the belt and clear the muffler; and the belt pulley cover may need to be trimmed to accommodate the belt pulley in its new location.
