This is a power socket for an XB12X/XT.
The connectors fit the spare power connector on 08+ XB and 1125 models. They are a straight plug in connection. We are working on a power harness to enable them to be used on all XB models.
The socket is a perfect fit for the headlight bracket on an 1125R. You don't screw the retaining ring, it is a perfect interference fit. It can be strapped to the side of the fuse box on an XB-R. Other models will need to figure a bracket to suit. Click on More Images to see the fit and connection on the 1125R.
Power is only delivered to the socket when the engine is running. These are useful for charging a GPS or bluetooth phone.
