TERMS and CONDITIONS
for the purchase of goods from SRWmoto
DISCLAIMER:
The proprietors of SRWmoto are motorcycle enthusiasts. We are not motorcycle automotive specialists. We recommend that all parts purchased through us be inspected and installed by qualified mechanics. SRWmoto accepts no liability for any damage, injury or loss of life resulting from the purchase of our products.
OEM Products:
SRWmoto are not authorised resellers of OEM parts and accessories. We on-sell products purchased from local dealers. These products have not been used before we sell them, but they are classified as second-hand goods. The WARRANTY and DEFECTIVE GOODS clauses (below) apply to OEM products.
WARRANTY:
In most cases no warranty is provided to SRWmoto by suppliers that distribute parts through SRWmoto. In turn SRWmoto gives no guarantees beyond those provided by our suppliers. In cases where goods purchased by SRWmoto come with a warranty, SRWmoto will attempt to pass the warranty to the consumer. In some cases proof may be required that the item has been installed by a qualified mechanic, and all warranties are limited to replacement of the purchased product.
The purchaser is responsible for returning the goods to SRWmoto when making any claim. We recommend that anyone wishing to make a claim should first send notification to sales@srwmoto.com.au with low resolution digital images identifying the issue.
DEFECTIVE GOODS:
Claims can be lodged with us for goods found to be defective or orders that are incomplete on arrival. Please lodge your claim through sales@srwmoto.com.au and where possible include digital photographs that clearly identify the issue.
REFUNDS:
There is no refund on goods for which SRWmoto places a special order at the purchaser’s request. Goods that are part of our collection of stock items may at our discretion be returned for a refund providing that the following conditions are met:
· There is no charge for cancelling an order of stock items before goods are wrapped
· Otherwise, a request must be lodged with us by email to sales@srwmoto.com.au
· The request must be received by us within 14 days of the date that we recorded for shipment
· The claim must include the full order details – order number, purchaser , address and value
· The returned goods must be in saleable condition still in their original wrapping
· The goods must be returned to us at the expense of the purchaser making the request
· The cost of postage that we paid when sending the goods will be deducted from the refund
· A restocking fee of $25 will be deducted from the refund
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS:
Orders placed for items that are marked as Out Of Stock are tentative. The prices for these items are not guaranteed, and may fluctuate with the exchange rate at the time an order is shipped from our supplier. These orders are considered tentative, and SRWmoto will contact you to confirm the order if the price has varied.
DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS:
We send items by postal methods that have tracking. This is normally by registered post or (for lighter items) by Express post with instructions not to leave the parcel unattended on a doorstep. Parcels do go missing. If you would like to have the parcel left unattended, please put the instructions in the comments when you order. Please understand that when you give those instructions you are taking the risk on the delivery of the order.
COOLING OFF:
You are permitted a 10 day cooling off period. During the cooling off period, you are not billed for the order, the order is not dispatched and we place no orders for items that we do not normally stock. To retain the right to cool off, please put this as a request in the comments field just before you press checkout. Beyond 10 days we cannot guarantee that prices will not vary.
CHARGEBACK (DISPUTE) FEE:
The bank charges a hefty fee for processing charge-backs (disputes). If you make application for a charge-back, SRWmoto will pass on this fee unless it is shown that SRWmoto is at fault. If you have a dispute, talk to us first.
DEPOSITS:
When you request us to order items that are not part of our standard range we require a security deposit. We attempt to be fair in the management of the deposit. If you decide that you no longer want the item, we will refund the deposit once we have sold the item. If we get full price for the item, we will return the deposit in full. If we have to discount to sell the item, we will deduct the discount. The decision to discount and the amount to discount are completely at the discretion of SRWmoto.
PRODUCT REVIEWS:
You are able to add reviews for products. We would encourage you to do so. It permits other buyers to make informed choices based on the feedback (positive, negative or qualified) provided by those who go before them.
We undertake to make the reviews visible to all if our records show that you purchased the item from us and providing the expression is suitable for public viewing. We reserve the right to annotate any of the feedback. Sections annotated by us will be clearly marked.
